Download Driver Asus Xonar DX PCI Adapter

Asus Xonar DX Driver Download. I bought the Xonar to provide a headset / headphone with good sound. For this I looked for a relatively cheap card, which still sounds decent. The Xonar D1 was definitv a good choice. There is actually nothing to say about the installation of the map. However, the driver setup seems to belong to the monopolistic variety: Only after I deactivated the onboard sound in the BIOS and disconnected my Line6 TonePort UX1 from the computer, the drivers could be installed, before I got after a long wait without activity display the message that it was not Asus Xonar hardware has been found.

Once the drivers are installed, the onboard sound can be reactivated and the TonePort can be connected. Completely incomprehensible is for me, however, that the Xonar always only one output with sound: If one selects the digital output, the analog outputs at the rear and the front panel mute and the other way around. My Realtek onboard Quäke offers for each output its own Windows audio device and makes me so even choose to run which application which output etc. Why do we then also combined just the Mic In with the SPDIF Out is beyond me.

If I can only output either analog or digital anyway, then why not combine an analog output with the SPDIF out and let me synonymous with digital sound output a microphone? It remains a positive thing to note that the card produces really pleasant sound and the \”Xonar D1 Audio Center\” offers extensive and meaningful possibilities for setting. Therefore, overall a good purchase, since the card its purpose for me fully met. The Onboard Quäke now fires the external receiver digitally, the Xonar D1 the headset, I\’m satisfied.

So I use this card only to transfer in games synonymous 5.1 to my home cinema system (Dolby Digital Live). This works wonderfully. Movies are synonymous already coded in Dolby and could be synonymous already transferred over my onboard sound card. The processing is ok. The adapter for the SPDIF output is only plastic and wiggles in my case unfortunately. I have bought a higher quality now sitting perfectly. I have to say that I bought this used here and therefore the adapter already had a lot to do. Nevertheless, it would have done for a few cent more also a adapter of metal. Therefore, there is a star from me. Otherwise, I can recommend the card.
